Storage & Handling Guidance

Correct storage protects the stability and research value of every compound we supply. General guidance is below, always check the product page and product documentation for compound-specific instructions.

On arrival

  • Unpack promptly and check the tamper seal.
  • Move products to their storage temperature as soon as possible.
  • Retain the product label information alongside your research documentation.

Storage temperatures

Pre-mixed pens (stabilised cartridges) 2–8 °C refrigerated, protect from light 2–8 °C, upright, use within the period stated on the product page
Lyophilised vials −20 °C, protect from light and moisture Once reconstituted: 2–8 °C, observe aseptic technique
Bacteriostatic water & accessories Room temperature, away from direct sunlight Discard vials 28 days after first puncture

Handling practice

  • Handle in accordance with standard laboratory practice: gloves, clean bench, aseptic technique for any septum puncture.
  • Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles for reconstituted material; aliquot where a protocol requires repeated access.
  • Do not use products past their stated stability period; contact support if documentation is unclear.
